ABC

ABC revamps their line-up for 2009 with eight new shows debuting in the fall.

New:

Shark Tank: A reality show in which Mark Burnett gives budding entrepreneurs the chance to make their dreams come true.

The Forgotten: A drama in which amateurs work cases involving unidentfied victims in a crime drama from Jerry Bruckheimer.

Hank: A comedy starring Kelsey Grammer as a businessman who finds himself out of work and almost broke, with a wife and kids he hardly knows.

The Middle: A comedy about "raising a family and lowering your expectations" that stars Patricia Heaton and Neil Flynn (Janitor on “Scrubs”).

Modern Family: A comedy shot as a fake documentary that shows modern family life. Ed O'Neill stars.

Cougar Town: A comedy starring Courteney Cox as a recently divorced single mother.

Eastwick: A new spin on "The Witches of Eastwick" starring Rebecca Romijn, Lindsay Price, Sara Rue and Veronica Cartwright.

Flash Forward: A drama in which a mysterious event causes the entire world to black out, giving a glimpse into the near future.

Mid-Season:

The Deep End: A drama about first-year associates in a prestigious Los Angeles law firm.

Happy Town: Years after unsolved kidnappings, crime strikes a small Minnesota town again.

V: The 1980s miniseries about an alien race is revisited.

CBS

Not too many things changed at CBS this year. CBS is giving up on Without a Trace and The Unit, but is picking up Medium, which was dropped by NBC.

New:

Three Rivers: A medical drama starring Alex O'Loughlin.

Accidentally On Purpose: A comedy starring Jenna Elfman.

NCIS Los Angeles: An NCIS spin-off starring Chris O'Donnell as the head of an NCIS unit focused on undercover work.

The Good Wife: A legal drama starring Julianna Margules.

Mid-Season:

Dollhouse made the cut, but Terminator didn't. Otherwise, very little is changed on the Fox schedule for 2009.

New:

Brothers: Michael Strahan stars as a recently retired NFL player who returns to Houston to help his family, including a brother (Daryl "Chill" Mitchell) in a wheelchair.

Cleveland Show: A Family Guy spin-off.

Glee: Comedy about a HS glee club.

Human Target

NBC

NBC is claiming they have the most new material on their lineup ever. But this is an illusion created by Jay Leno's move from The Tonight Show to his own show airing at 9:00 PM.

New:

The Jay Leno Show: Jay Leno moves from The Tonight Show to his eponymous show airing in the 9:00 PM hour.

Trauma: A new medical drama about EMTs in the field.

Community: A new comedy about a lawyer (Joel McHale) who is back in school after his degree is deemed invalid. Chevy Chase also stars.

Parenthood
: A new television adaptation of the 1989 Steve Martion movie of the same name. This is the second attempt at creating a television show based on the movie and stars Craig T. Nelson, Bonnie Bedelia, Peter Krause, Maura Tierney, Erika Chirstensen, Dax Shepard, and Monica Potter.

Mid-Season/Summer
:

100 Questions

The Marriage Ref

Mercy

CW

The CW has abandoned Sunday nights all together and has returned the broadcast time to their affiliates. Also abandoned were the rumored Gossip Girls '80s prequel, Privileged, which ran for one season, and Reaper, which ran for two seasons.

New:

Melrose Place: A revival of the '90s hit, the new series focuses on a group of young good-lookers who live in a swanky apartment complex; unlike the original, this incarnation gets underway with a murder mystery.

The Beautiful Life: A fdrama about the lives of two up-and-coming models in New York.

The Vampire Diaries: A drama -- based on YA books of the same name -- about two vampire brothers who battle for the souls of the residents of a small town. Kevin Williamson, the creator of Dawson's Creek is attached as a writer.
