He was born in St. Louis, grew up in southern Indiana, and returned to St. Louis to attend Washington University. He hasn't managed to escape yet. I Didn't Know He Was Still Alive
I realize that there are lots of comic book fans out there, but why is this article about Captain America (spoiler: he's dead) the lead article on times website. They even have a picture from the article running right up there in the prime news spot. Must be a really, really slow news day.
