David is an occasional blogger, software engineer, Nintendo fanboy, liberal, news magazine addict, voracious TiVo user, and bibliophile. He was born in St. Louis, grew up in southern Indiana, and returned to St. Louis to attend Washington University. He hasn't managed to escape yet. He's a fan of free wine tastings, too many tv shows to name, and eating out. David makes his living developing web applications used internally by his employer. He doesn't blog about work because he's heard too many stories about that causing workplace troubles. There's more on the about page. |

Michael, Ben, Jeremy, and I had dinner at Royal Chinese BBQ on Olive today. Also dining there: So Taguchi. He looked a bit taller and heavier than mlb.com gives him credit for. But maybe he isn't at hi playing weight during the off season.
I'm pretty sure this is my first celebrity sighting in St. Louis. Which is rather depressing when you consider that I've been here off and on for about eight years.

Wow, given his background and his means, RCB must be a great place to eat Chinese food. Or is it just So, So?

David--You saw my favorite Cardinal! I am so envious. Did you get his autograph? Did you tell him how much we enjoyed the World Series?
When you get right down to it, how many celebs are in St. Louis? Other than all the Cards and Nellie I can't honestly think of any. Who are the other StL celebs that you aren't seeing?
