David is an occasional blogger, software engineer, Nintendo fanboy, liberal, news magazine addict, voracious TiVo user, and bibliophile. He was born in St. Louis, grew up in southern Indiana, and returned to St. Louis to attend Washington University. He hasn't managed to escape yet. He's a fan of free wine tastings, too many tv shows to name, and eating out. David makes his living developing web applications used internally by his employer. He doesn't blog about work because he's heard too many stories about that causing workplace troubles. There's more on the about page. |

Creationists really fascinate me. I can't get enough of their specious arguments and (often overt) dishonesty. It's amazing to me that people like this still exist and their numbers seem to be growing.
Articles like this are fun to read, but the ineffectiveness of great resources like Talk.Origins has convinced me that there is no discussion, no evidence, no proof for creationists except for what comes from their pastor's mouths.

Also, Richard Dawkins recently had a good editorial in The Times about creationism.

As someone who lives amongst them, I can tell you that arguing with them is an exercise in futility and frustration. Just be glad you don't have children going to school in Kansas.

Wow, I can't believe how much creationist stuff I'm running into this week. Did you know dinosaurs died when they tried to destroy Noah's Ark?
