David is an occasional blogger, software engineer, Nintendo fanboy, liberal, news magazine addict, voracious TiVo user, and bibliophile. He was born in St. Louis, grew up in southern Indiana, and returned to St. Louis to attend Washington University. He hasn't managed to escape yet. He's a fan of free wine tastings, too many tv shows to name, and eating out. David makes his living developing web applications used internally by his employer. The NY Times reports that Robert Schindler spent fifteen minutes visiting his daughter, Terri Schiavo, today. He then spoke to the press. I feel sorry for Mr. and Mrs. Schindler. Instead of spending time with their daughter as she slips away, they're busy filing appeals and impromptu press conferences. It seems inevitable that when all the this is over, they'll look back on these past few weeks and wish they'd done things differently.
