From Lisa de Moraes's list of weekly TV winners and losers we get this:

"The West Wing." With the old cast divvied up and yet another presidential campaign in full swing, viewing on NBC's political drama fell to its lowest level ever for an original episode -- 10.7 million viewers.
It's pretty obvious which category this came from. And, frankly, it makes me happy to see "The West Wing" struggling. From my perspective the series ended two years ago and I don't approve of these weird, alternate episodes that are currently airing. Also, I know John Wells has a thing for Alan Alda, but does he really think Alda and a new republican dimension to the program will revive the old ratings?

I've never watched it but I get tired of seeing all the reruns taking up slots that could be used for that crazy Japanese extreme sports thing and other shows more worthy than West Wing.

I wisht the Nov election had allowed us to cast ballots for actors on West Wing or whether to keep the show altogether. Or maybe they could hold an Internet election to see what should happen on West Wing.
