I have decided to become ambidextrous. As a first step I moved my mouse to the other side of my desk and am using my left hand to control it. The actual control of the mouse isn't that big a deal, but I often find myself reaching for the mouse with my right hand only to find that it isn't there.

I often attempt the same thing when I can't keep interested during a lecture. So far, not much luck. Keep us posted on your progress. However, doesn't it seem that deciding to be ambidextrous is kind of like deciding to reproduce asexually?

Those last few words sounded kind of metaphorical or like something you might read in a novel.

Can you actually make yourself ambidextrous? I would like to learn German, and I fear it is as difficult.

I write sometimes with my left hand to try to keep it somewhat dextrous. The word "dextrous" comes from the word meaning "right", so ambidextrous seems like it can't be done, unless you want two right hands.

Rachel learning German isn't all that hard, but I guess it's a right brain thiing.
