David is an occasional blogger, software engineer, Nintendo fanboy, liberal, news magazine addict, voracious TiVo user, and bibliophile. He was born in St. Louis, grew up in southern Indiana, and returned to St. Louis to attend Washington University. He hasn't managed to escape yet. He's a fan of free wine tastings, too many tv shows to name, and eating out. David makes his living developing web applications used internally by his employer. I was saddened today to learn of the passing of Mike Sampson yesterday. Mike was the host of "St. Louis on the Air" and "Cityscape" on KWMU, the local public radio station here in St. Louis. Mike was one of the most knowledgeable and convivial radio hosts I've ever had the pleasure of listening to. Mike lived in the CWE and was a visible presence in that neighborhood. Many a morning was enhanced by hearing his voice on the radio and I'll miss hearing him.
