Do any of you have any experience with satellite radio services such as XM Radio or Sirius? I'm thinking about getting satellite radio for my car and I'd be interested in hearing from anyone with some experience with it.

I have Sirius and absolutely love it. When I got it I made my choice based on which had NPR, and at the time, Sirius was the only one that had it. I don't know if that is still the case. And if you like Howard Stern, Sirius is the way to go.
I don't have any experience with XM, so all I can say is that Sirius rocks.

Dave, I heard today that MLB just signed a deal to play all major league games on XM radio. I have considered trying satellite radio in the past, but have always held back because the lack of baseball coverage. This might sway me to give it a try once the spring rolls around.
May or may not influence your decision...

My mom has XM, and my good friend Bob has Sirius. I used XM when I was driving her car last summer — it rocks. There's a station for just about anything you'd want to listen to. Jon's point is a good one if you are having a hard time deciding.
Bob uses his Sirius player in his car and then brings it to his office. I think you can do that with XM, too. It's also quite good. I'm guessing you're not a Howard Stern fan, but you know he'll be on Sirius in a year or two (I'm thinking the MLB coverage weighs more than the Stern stuff, huh).
I am thinking of asking my parents for one or the other for Christmas. Let me know which one you decide on.

I'm leaning toward XM, I think. Nathan, was there any reason you chose Sirius over XM?
