I made a tweak to the stylesheet we use here at -273 which should improve the way fonts look for our non-IE-using friends. The rest of us shouldn't notice any change. Please leave a comment and tell me what you think.

Under Konqueror the site looks great (almost exactly the same as IE). Under firebird and Mozilla the headings are alittle scrunched together, but it's still readable. Overall it's a big improvement.

Beautiful!!!
(I hope this wasn't because of my minor swipe)

It didn't really take much work. I just hadn't realized what abig difference there was between xx-small Arial in IE and in everything else. I feel a bit bad about the fact that I'm adding to the already large amount of scripting that occurs in our stylesheet, but it seemed like the only solution.

Now if only the other 99% of websites could follow your example, I won't be wearing 3" thick glasses when I'm 40.

Also, since you asked: my old hosting provider was Netluxe (www.netluxe.net) which, while giving a great deal and offering wonderful service, was run by someone who was embezzling all of the customer payments. Their business was since acquired.

I'm now with Apis Networks (www.apisnetworks.com), and at $8.95 a month I'm pretty happy.

I didn't see any difference with the old Firebird I was using, but with the new version it is much easire to read, and the font size changes don't mess with the formatting as much as they used to.
