In case you were curious about where to go to buy an expensive beanbag chair, I'm here to report that the Galleria now has a store entirely devoted to the sale of beanbag chairs. The store is called Love Sac. While researching this post, I found the Love Sac homepage. As the site says, Love Sac is "the alternative to lame furniture." (And I always thought beanbag chairs were lame.) But the most impressive thing about the Love Sac site is their product page, where you may be shocked to learn that the cheapest Love Sac, the one "most often ordered...as ottomans for the larger Sacs," will cost you $135. The larger SuperSac, which "will comfortably sit 3 adults or 19 children," will cost you $440! For the cost of the SuperSac you could buy some real furniture and have some cash left over.

This is actually good to know -- we've been looking for a bean bag chair for one of our kids' rooms. It's a bit pricey though -- anybody seen them who can testify to their durability?

To be honest, they do look pretty durable. Also, I believe they have a store at the new St. Louis Mills, so you could visit the new mall and check out the bean bag chairs, if you wanted to.

i have two of them, a five foot and a six foot. i don't recommend the five foot size. the six foot one is the best. they are very durable. they are a little expensive though. i bought the five foot one for something like $300 at the lovesac store but i got lucky with the six foot one. i got it online, brandnew at a website called overstock.com for $200 + $2.95 shipping.
i highly recommend the six foot sac.

Stumbled upon this page while looking for beanbags myself. I just found a company called Corda-Roy's Originals (Cordaroys.com) that sells the same basic bag as Love Sac, but get this - they are affordable, have lifetime warranties, free shipping and best of all they all convert to beds. I called and spoke to the owner/inventor and he assured me that if I was not thrilled with my purchase his company would refund the entire amount including shipping - no questions asked. Sounds like they've covered everything. I'll let you know.

Thanks for the info Roxanne.
I too am looking for a SuperSac and every site refers me to Overstock.com. The guy at CordaRoys tells me they have been yanked from Overstock.com
because the franchise holders had a megafit when they found out they were selling them at half the price. I'll definately be checking into Cordaroys.com

Last night was the first time I sat on a Love Sac and it was so comfortable my husaband and i about feel asleep on it and Our son loved it. They are a little pricey but they will definatly pay for themselves. The kid at the store said that if you feel it doesn't have enough stuffing, they will send you more for free or if the material was to ever breakdown they would but get this the cushion stuff is what they make Lazy-Boyz out of :) that's why there so dang comfortable. They also have free shiping at the stores as well. Hope this helps. Oh and the covers are washable. excpet for the Fur ones.

Can someone please tell me if they purchased the CordaRoys bag and how they like it? How does it compare to LoveSac?
Thanks,
Dan

I would like to say that I am 18, there is a love sac store near my house, and that I would like to move in. :) No really though, they are like the most comfortable thing since fleece sweat pants. If my parents would buy me one, I would worship them forever! I am also a student of interior design, and I was learning that there may be problems with bacteria, mildew, etc. that slowly builds up... so there may be a caution to kids or adults with asthma and allergies. Whatever though.... sofas have foam to...

I saw the Cordaroys chair in florida for the first time may 03. I loved it so much I bought a franchise. I opened corda-roy's of Kansas city, mo in september. I've seen the lovesac at a couple locations and of course i'm biased because i own a corda-roy's store, but ours are better. Made in the USA, lifetime warranty, and of course the bed inside has it hands down. More filling in a corda-roy's too. Oh yeah, starts $129 for a 3foot chair. $249 for a 5 foot. $399 for a 7x4 foot sofa. Anyone can contact or come to my store any time and I will talk to you. www.kccordaroys.com. ---------Thanks.

Jason, or anyone with personal experience - I've heard wonderful things about the Corda-Roys sofa, but how comfortable is the bed inside?

I saw the love sacs at the mall here in San Diego and thought that they were awesome. I think that my kids had more fun in the store than I did. I know that I have a problem with impuls buying, but I also like to really know what Im buying and make sure that it is a worthwhile quality product. The price on them was a little steep for something so simple. So I went home and looked them up on the net, ebay, and all the other sites that I thought I could find one cheeper. In turn I found 2 other bags that seemed of equal quality, the cordaroys, and poof/foof chairs. I wrote all three comments asking for differences between them and the others. I got replys from the other two but nothing from love sac. After many e-mails later and much debate I chose the cordaroy. I could have gotten the poof chair cheeper, but a bed in the bag put it over the edge for me. Plus the cordroys seem to have a better warrantee / guarantee. When I get my bag tomorow, trust me that I will make a visit to the mall to see which one I like better. If I think that the cordaroy bag is lacking I will go back and buy the poof chair. As for love sac they lost out, I believe that your customer service is as good as your product. I still have not heard anything from them and thinking of that 200% mark up kinda makes me cringe. So sorry love sac
