He was born in St. Louis, grew up in southern Indiana, and returned to St. Louis to attend Washington University. He hasn't managed to escape yet. He's a fan of free wine tastings, too many tv shows to name, and eating out. David makes his living developing web applications used internally by his employer. These past two weekends I've managed to miss two things that I really wanted to do. This past weekend was the St. Louis Art Fair. I had every intention of going, but the weblog party and the assorted things I needed to get done in preparation for the weblog party kept me away. And the weekend before this was the Japanese festival at the Botanical Gardens. When I read about the Japanese festival in the paper I was reminded that I had been to it before. It was probably more than 15 years ago when my parents took me. But I had already made plans to be out of town that weekend, so I couldn't make it to that, either.

Too bad about the art fair. It's expensive to buy anything there, so I have yet to do that, but it's a lot of fun to walk around. I'll post some stuff about it.
