I've been playing a lot of subspace during the past couple of days. It took me a while to remember all of the commands for firing different weapons, but I'm doing alright now. I'm not sure what prompted me to d/l the client, since I haven't really played the game since I was in high school.

As an aside, I think its pretty cool that there seems to be a user community working on subspace. When it first came out, it was a commercial product, but apparently its since been released into the public domain.

Anyway, I think it would be pretty cool if acm picked subspace for their next gaming contest. It's supposed to be pretty easy to get the server up and running. They could even let people join in the melee remotely.

...

Oh, I probably won't be back to St. Louis until Tuesday.
