I wrote two posts about the upcoming war yesterday, but have abandoned both of them. I get too worked up when I find out people are buying into an ideology without really knowing exactly what the ideology stands for. One a separate but related note, online, multiplayer, spaceship fighting games is not the best forum for a political debate. And trying to formulate an argument around the hypothesis that person X is "the devil," therefore everything he or she does is wrong just doesn't work. This is an ad hominem logical fallacy, a textbook one, and doesn't lend any weight to your arguments. Also, I would respect your opinions more if you were actually any good at the online, multiplayer, spaceship fighting game that you choose for your political forum.

It's been suggested to me that apartment 12 should host a subspace party. I'm not sure if this is such a good idea. I'm pretty nerdy, but I've never stooped so low as to attend or hold a "lan party." The Iron Chef idea with pizza served at the end to make up for the hideous food prepared by our contestants seems like a better idea. What do you think?

I vote for both parties. For one, I make a mean chicken parmigiana. For another, I can now kill upwards of five people before I get killed in said online multiplayer spaceship fighting games. Five!

Oh, totally go for an Iron Chef WITH pizza. And then give some weird ingredient like Tofu. Or something else that actually is weird.

Yes, there's something about subspace that attracts people who use made-up facts to strengthen their arguments. Did you know that communist Russia still exists? Nor did I. Oh, and the mystery ingredient should be spam, squirrel, or communist Russia.
