Have any of you ever been to radio-locator.com? It's a comprehensive list of radio stations around the country. You can search for stations by format, frequency, location, or a bunch of other parameters. It will even show you a map of the station's coverage area once you find it. For example, this map explains why 93X drops in and out here in St. Louis. And here is KWUR's coverage. Anyway, I need to stop playing around with this and get back ready for school.

While in training at KWUR they mentioned there's a man in South County who reported to us that he wallpapered a room of his house in tinfoil, just to be able to pull in our lousy 10W signal.

I hope they had the heart not to tell him he could've just streamed it.

Most impressive, though, is KMOX:

This isn't anywhere CLOSE to being accurate, though. On clear nights with a good car stereo, I've pulled in KMOX loud and clear from as far away as Philadelphia and DC.
