David is an occasional blogger, software engineer, Nintendo fanboy, liberal, news magazine addict, voracious TiVo user, and bibliophile. He was born in St. Louis, grew up in southern Indiana, and returned to St. Louis to attend Washington University. He hasn't managed to escape yet. He's a fan of free wine tastings, too many tv shows to name, and eating out. David makes his living developing web applications used internally by his employer. He doesn't blog about work because he's heard too many stories about that causing workplace troubles. There's more on the about page. |

I saw Star Trek Nemesis tonight. My only real complaint is that they didn't call it "The Wrath of Shinzon." That would make it a bit more obvious that all they did was remake Star Trek II. Of course, The Wrath of Khan was one of my favorite Trek movies, so this wasn't totally disappointing. And there were differences between the two movies. But the differences were more in the details and motivations. The broad strokes were the same between the two films.
Oh, and Wesley Crusher was in the movie, but he didn't actually have any lines.
