David is an occasional blogger, software engineer, Nintendo fanboy, liberal, news magazine addict, voracious TiVo user, and bibliophile. He was born in St. Louis, grew up in southern Indiana, and returned to St. Louis to attend Washington University. He hasn't managed to escape yet. He's a fan of free wine tastings, too many tv shows to name, and eating out. David makes his living developing web applications used internally by his employer. Hello again. Sorry about not posting, but I was in Kansas City this past weekend participating in the ACM programming contest. The two WashU teams took second and third out of eight at our site and tenth and 24th out of 108 in the region. Not well enough to advance to the international competition in Hollywood, but pretty well considering it's WashU's first time participating in a number of years.
Oh well, class time. I'll have to save my programming contest insights for another post.
