David is an occasional blogger, software engineer, Nintendo fanboy, liberal, news magazine addict, voracious TiVo user, and bibliophile. He was born in St. Louis, grew up in southern Indiana, and returned to St. Louis to attend Washington University. He hasn't managed to escape yet. He's a fan of free wine tastings, too many tv shows to name, and eating out. David makes his living developing web applications used internally by his employer. He doesn't blog about work because he's heard too many stories about that causing workplace troubles. There's more on the about page. |

There may be some good news on the apartment front; we'll know for sure tomorrow. Tonight michael and I are working on a movie for the Apple iMovie contest. We've had a lot of false starts and wasted time, but we might get something done. Tomorrow we have a meeting with Dr. Grimm to discuss how the WUgrade project should proceed. We presented the project to the faculty on Wednesday. They had some concerns about security, but I think the overall reception was pretty good. There have even been some rumors about getting paid for working on it; that would be very cool.
On an unrelated note, Aaron, I think the anger you expressed in your most recent post came from the fact that the 'Yonsei' kid bested you in the duel of swords. But I could be wrong.
Oh. I forgot about Gosford Park. James, michael, and I saw Gosford Park at the Tivoli tonight. michael claims he only understood about every other word because of the weird accents, but I really liked it.
