David is an occasional blogger, software engineer, Nintendo fanboy, liberal, news magazine addict, voracious TiVo user, and bibliophile. He was born in St. Louis, grew up in southern Indiana, and returned to St. Louis to attend Washington University. He hasn't managed to escape yet. He's a fan of free wine tastings, too many tv shows to name, and eating out. David makes his living developing web applications used internally by his employer. He doesn't blog about work because he's heard too many stories about that causing workplace troubles. There's more on the about page. |

so I thought Id check back in for a bit just to let our readers know Im alive. after losing the contest with ab9, I thought it would be nice to take a little vacation. and it was. but I didnt want to be away for too long or else Id start getting used to it.
so for those of you whove wondered what Ive been up to, most of my time has been spent on robotics the last few days. not only is it 30 percent of my grade but it is also cindy grimms research, and her opinion of me is pretty important if I want to do graduate work in the near future, so its kind of a high priority.
also, I know I dont link very often, but I wanted to throw this one out. dustgun is a good weblog. you should go check it out. Id actually put him in the page header if we had the room, but I only really get three links, and since two of them are my own websites and the other one is my girlfriends, theres not much I can do. of course, linking to someone you dont know is probably a little weird anyway, so I guess I wont worry about it.
all right, enough of this. now I sleep.
