David is an occasional blogger, software engineer, Nintendo fanboy, liberal, news magazine addict, voracious TiVo user, and bibliophile. He was born in St. Louis, grew up in southern Indiana, and returned to St. Louis to attend Washington University. He hasn't managed to escape yet. He's a fan of free wine tastings, too many tv shows to name, and eating out. David makes his living developing web applications used internally by his employer. He doesn't blog about work because he's heard too many stories about that causing workplace troubles. There's more on the about page. |

Hmm. I didn't mean to keep that last post at the top of the page so long. So now I'm posting.
I took the GRE yesterday; it was pretty easy, even though I didn't sleep much the night before and had a pretty bad cold. Today I had lunch at Cracker Barrel with Luke, and then watched a bit of TV. Did you know that ESPN has a show called "Thrills and Spills," where they show -- for a full half-hour without any commentators -- car crash from car races. Why would you ever watch NASCAR or Indy races if you can just watch "Thrills and Spills?"
