David is an occasional blogger, software engineer, Nintendo fanboy, liberal, news magazine addict, voracious TiVo user, and bibliophile. He was born in St. Louis, grew up in southern Indiana, and returned to St. Louis to attend Washington University. He hasn't managed to escape yet. He's a fan of free wine tastings, too many tv shows to name, and eating out. David makes his living developing web applications used internally by his employer. He doesn't blog about work because he's heard too many stories about that causing workplace troubles. There's more on the about page. |

The Personal Finance exam went pretty well, I think. Certainly a lot better than the first Personal Finance exam, which bore no resemblance to the what I expected it to be like, mainly because it bore no resemblance to anything he talked about in class. Anyway, yesterday I had graphics and probstats finals. The graphics went very well, the probstats not as well. When I got back after the exam James (who also took the exam) IMed me with "I want to cry" as the text of his message. I understood completely; it was not as easy as we had been led to believe it was going to be.
In about an hour, I have to go take my English final (a pass/fail class, thankfully) and then I have to immediately go the Lopata Gallery to give a presentation on the robot I've been working on for the past six weeks or so. Sadly, my lab partner has skipped town, so I have to do the talk all by myself.
Tonight, after I get back from the robot presentation, I have to write up my paper on the robot (eight pages are already done!) and send a bunch of important emails.
