Gene showed me his iPod today, and I must admit that I'm very impressed. He has more than 800 songs on it, and it still has a gig of free space. Plus 20 minutes of skip protection and 10 hours of battery life. Wow. The only caveat is that while the front has that cool whitish look like the iBook, the back and sides are chrome, which looks kind of tacky and as soon as you touch it, it looks even ickier with fingerprints all over it.
