There is a poster in Mallinkrodt advertising a "Greek Gods and Goddesses" contest that is being run by one of the WashU fraternities. I think it is some sort of beauty contest, but that is beside the point. The picture they put on the poster, to help them advertise their "Greek Gods and Goddesses" contest was a picture of Michelangelo's David. Now, I'm not all that familiar with the Bible, but I am fairly certain that David was the kid who defeated Goliath and later became king of Israel. I think his son was Solomon. And I also think he was not a Greek God or Goddess. In fact, it is probably sacrilegious to suggest that he is.

David is an occasional blogger, software engineer, Nintendo fanboy, liberal, news magazine addict, voracious TiVo user, and bibliophile. He was born in St. Louis, grew up in southern Indiana, and returned to St. Louis to attend Washington University. He hasn't managed to escape yet. He's a fan of free wine tastings, too many tv shows to name, and eating out.

David makes his living developing web applications used internally by his employer. He doesn't blog about work because he's heard too many stories about that causing workplace troubles.
