David is an occasional blogger, software engineer, Nintendo fanboy, liberal, news magazine addict, voracious TiVo user, and bibliophile. He was born in St. Louis, grew up in southern Indiana, and returned to St. Louis to attend Washington University. He hasn't managed to escape yet. He's a fan of free wine tastings, too many tv shows to name, and eating out. David makes his living developing web applications used internally by his employer. He doesn't blog about work because he's heard too many stories about that causing workplace troubles. There's more on the about page. |

It's only for one day; we'll be back to normal tomorrow. I promise. You see, I haven't been sleeping well recently, so when I woke up early this morning, I decided to throw a Halloween theme up. It seemed like a better idea than staying in bed for two or three hours, unable to sleep, which is what I've done the past few mornings.
The only thing I need to get done today is the robotics midterm, which I suspect will be unbelievably time-consuming. But I think I should be able to get it done before I go to the Sum 41 concert tonight.
Now it's time for a shower, since my alarm clock just went off, a full 2 1/2 hours after I got up. (Hurrah for insomnia!)
