David is an occasional blogger, software engineer, Nintendo fanboy, liberal, news magazine addict, voracious TiVo user, and bibliophile. He was born in St. Louis, grew up in southern Indiana, and returned to St. Louis to attend Washington University. He hasn't managed to escape yet. He's a fan of free wine tastings, too many tv shows to name, and eating out. David makes his living developing web applications used internally by his employer. He doesn't blog about work because he's heard too many stories about that causing workplace troubles. There's more on the about page. |

Yesterday I had planned on spending some time working on my paper for my Chief american Writers class. I managed to write, over the course of the three hours I spent on it, exactly one sentence. Consequently, I cleared some time this afternoon that I am going to devote entirely to this stupid paper. It only needs to be four pages long, and I'm taking the class pass/fail, so I should be able to get most of it written this afternoon. Then I can polish it tomorrow and turn it in on Friday.
This weekend is shaping up to be rather busy. I have a Prob Stats test and a graphics lab due on Monday, and on Tuesday I have a Personal Finance exam. I may also have an exam in that English class next week. The professor, for reasons unknown to me, is keeping the date of that exam a secret.
Tonight isn't the season preimere of the West Wing, but it will be a new episode. It's going to be a reaction to the events of Sept. 11. I'm not sure how good its going be, and I think I would rather have the season preimere.
