David is an occasional blogger, software engineer, Nintendo fanboy, liberal, news magazine addict, voracious TiVo user, and bibliophile. He was born in St. Louis, grew up in southern Indiana, and returned to St. Louis to attend Washington University. He hasn't managed to escape yet. He's a fan of free wine tastings, too many tv shows to name, and eating out. David makes his living developing web applications used internally by his employer. He doesn't blog about work because he's heard too many stories about that causing workplace troubles. There's more on the about page. |

You may be slightly confused by the entry below this one. It's the output of a little program that I adapted to keep you (our readers) happy when I am unable to post next week. I fed the program a good number of my recent entries, at it came up with that post, which approximates what I would have written. The program could use a bit of refining, but I find its posts to be rather humorous. So you should look forward to seeing one of those every day that I am in Boston (August 4 through August 11).
I'm hungry because I skipped lunch to go to the library and get some books to read on the fligh tomorrow. So now I am going to see if I can locate some free food. I'll try to post one final time before I leave tomorrow morning.
