David is an occasional blogger, software engineer, Nintendo fanboy, liberal, news magazine addict, voracious TiVo user, and bibliophile. He was born in St. Louis, grew up in southern Indiana, and returned to St. Louis to attend Washington University. He hasn't managed to escape yet. He's a fan of free wine tastings, too many tv shows to name, and eating out. David makes his living developing web applications used internally by his employer. He doesn't blog about work because he's heard too many stories about that causing workplace troubles. There's more on the about page. |

so here it is, my first post on the newly designed negative273. and whats better, Im posting from a web browser window as opposed to dream weaver. I think this will be far more convenient, although it doesnt have a spell checker. its not perfect, but I think its better than what we had. especially for dave, who couldnt post from work without a big hassle.
but anyway, Ive been on sort of a break from posting lately, as Im prone to do, but dont think I wasnt busy with other things. important things. so dont yell at me. Im having a bad enough time as it is. my program at work is really frustrating me. its proving very very hard to try to get reliable face detection because what works for one set of images wont seem to work for another set captured at a different time. and we really need something that will, or this whole thing wont work. its a little disheartening, but still I plod on. and to make things worse, I have a test on thursday, and I dont like tests. but I am determined to do well on this last homework and on the test. oh, and to make things worse still, I cant sleep at night. which is something Id really like to start doing.
okay, I give up. this post is awful, but Im hungry. maybe later tonight I will write a better one. but probably that burden will be on dave.
