David is an occasional blogger, software engineer, Nintendo fanboy, liberal, news magazine addict, voracious TiVo user, and bibliophile. He was born in St. Louis, grew up in southern Indiana, and returned to St. Louis to attend Washington University. He hasn't managed to escape yet. He's a fan of free wine tastings, too many tv shows to name, and eating out. David makes his living developing web applications used internally by his employer. He doesn't blog about work because he's heard too many stories about that causing workplace troubles. There's more on the about page. |

Welcome to the newly redesigned negative273.com! This is the first step in a two-part redesign process. We've got the basic structure nailed down, and in the next few weeks we're going to be working on the colors. But don't expect that until the end of August.
For the time-being there are still a few things I need to work out before this goes up though. I need to add permalinks to all the entries, and I still need to add the counter to the header. I also need to fix the archives link and create a page for the features section. But these are all minor things, and they should be fixed by the time you read this (especially since I'm not going to let anyone see this page until I fix all these things).
I'd like to take a moment to say how cool greymatter is. It really is a very cool weblog system, and if you have the ability to run cgi scripts on your site, you might want to think about installing greymatter.
One final thing. We would appreciate getting some feedback on our new design. So please send us an email at zero@negative273.com with any comments you might have. Or, if you prefer to be more like me, post your comments about how much you hate the font on this page to your weblog.
