I saw my friend Jon Polk and his younger brother Ben (I would provide a link for him, but I don't know his email address and I don't think he has a website.  Of course, you don't really care why I'm not linking to him, do you?) for the first time this summer tonight.  We went bowling at Franklin Lanes with Luke and John.  On Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday you can bowl unlimited games from 9-11pm for $5.  Tomorrow Jon is heading up north (he's told me the name of the town where he's going to be at least five times, but I always forget. Seymour, maybe?) to work at a camp.  He's going to be living in a cabin with a bunch of elementary school kids.  It sounds like my version of hell, but I imagine that he'll enjoy it.  He is studying to be a teacher, so he probably needs to get used to annoying kids.  In any event, he's not done at that camp until the beginning of August, so I won't be seeing much of him.  Hopefully he'll get a few weekends off and come visit us down here in EVV.  (I wonder if he has Internet access at this camp?  A whole summer without checking email. . . it doesn't even bear thinking about.)  Anyway have fun in [insert name of town here], Jon.
