I downloaded three different notepad replacement/html text editor programs today.  I'm thinking one of them will prove easier to use, at least for doing -273 posts from work, than notepad.  I'll report back tomorrow with the results of my experiment.

I've got a couple of unrelated but fairly serious questions for all of you, which I hope you'll take the time to answer.

  1. Would anyone be interested in buying, for a nominal price, -273 stickers, suitable for sticking on your car, RV, motorcycle, infant, etc.?

  2. Does anyone know if there is a javascript command that will open the save shortcut as dialog box?  Kind of like the command that opens a new window with a file you specify, but instead of opening a new window it offers to save the specified file?

Your answers to these questions are greatly appreciated.  Just send them to david@negative273.com.

I thought I was running out of things to do at work, but today I had a really stellar idea for improving the site I've been working on.  I'm thinking it will take me the better part of the day tomorrow to get it done, so I'll at least have something to work on for one more day.

Working with FrontPage 98 all day long has really made me appreciate Macromedia Dreamweaver, so I thought I'd take a little space to give some "mad props" to the people at Macromedia who work on Dreamweaver.  It kicks ass.
