David is an occasional blogger, software engineer, Nintendo fanboy, liberal, news magazine addict, voracious TiVo user, and bibliophile. He was born in St. Louis, grew up in southern Indiana, and returned to St. Louis to attend Washington University. He hasn't managed to escape yet. He's a fan of free wine tastings, too many tv shows to name, and eating out. David makes his living developing web applications used internally by his employer. He doesn't blog about work because he's heard too many stories about that causing workplace troubles. There's more on the about page. |

My friend Luke, when we were burning CDs last night, hypothesized that Lifehouse, given the lyrics to some of their songs, was a Christian rock band. I had never heard anyone say that Lifehouse was a Christian rock band, but their lyrics, when I examined them in the CD line notes, could certainly be used to support this idea. If anyone wants to weigh in on this issue, send me an email.
Today was a pretty lazy day. After staying up past two last night, I slept until almost 11am today. Then I finished reading the book I had started on Friday and went down and read the newspaper while I ate lunch. I caught the last four innings of the Cardinals game (they won), and then took a nap until almost 5. Around six or 6:30 my parents and I went out to eat at Applebee's, then we came back and I watched Malcolm in the Middle. Now I'm watching the NBC made-for-TV movie Submerged. I like naval stories, but I'm not too impressed with this show so far.
