David is an occasional blogger, software engineer, Nintendo fanboy, liberal, news magazine addict, voracious TiVo user, and bibliophile. He was born in St. Louis, grew up in southern Indiana, and returned to St. Louis to attend Washington University. He hasn't managed to escape yet. He's a fan of free wine tastings, too many tv shows to name, and eating out. David makes his living developing web applications used internally by his employer. He doesn't blog about work because he's heard too many stories about that causing workplace troubles. There's more on the about page. |

Did you know that in Internet Explorer 5.5 and higher you can change the way the scrollbars look? If you're using IE 5.5 or higher, click one of the buttons at the bottom of this post to see what I mean (the buttons probably won't show up and definitely won't work in Netscape). This feature isn't really that cool, yet I've been fiddling with it off and on for the better part of the evening. Only a few more weeks of school, and then I'll have all the time I want to do things like this. (Of course, once school is out and I'm back home, I won't have my fast Internet connection, and I won't want to do Internet related things anymore.)
