David is an occasional blogger, software engineer, Nintendo fanboy, liberal, news magazine addict, voracious TiVo user, and bibliophile. He was born in St. Louis, grew up in southern Indiana, and returned to St. Louis to attend Washington University. He hasn't managed to escape yet. He's a fan of free wine tastings, too many tv shows to name, and eating out. David makes his living developing web applications used internally by his employer. He doesn't blog about work because he's heard too many stories about that causing workplace troubles. There's more on the about page. |

Good evening.
Perhaps you've noticed that I've been talking about my new computer a lot recently. I'm really psyched about it. Unfortunately, I'm so psyched about computers in general that I think I've been bitten by the buy-stuff-for-my-computer bug. This can only be a bad thing, given my current financial state. Fortunately, I can't think of too many things to buy. Except a new keyboard. And maybe a 19" monitor. Perhaps a DVD player would be nice, too. Hopefully I'll be able to afford some of these things this summer, when I will be making a bit of money.
In other news, Bulbasaur says "hi."
